Witt IT Consulting Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

 

Witt IT Consulting LLC, doing business as Witt IT Consulting - Web and SEO Experts ("we," "us," or "our"), provides web development, SEO, and consulting services. This policy covers https://www.wittitconsulting.com, Witt AI Command Center, and information we handle in connection with inquiries and our services. When we process information under a client's instructions, our agreement with that client governs that work and the client's privacy notice describes its own activities.

 

2. Information we collect

 

We collect information you choose to provide through inquiries, forms, chat, email, and service communications, such as your name, business, contact details, website address, project needs, messages, and submitted materials. Service records may include proposals, agreements, invoices, billing contacts, and support correspondence.

 

Our website uses Wix hosting and website services. Website operation and security may involve IP addresses, browser/device information, pages requested, timestamps, cookies, and error or interaction logs. Wix Chat and Broadly Chat are enabled on the website; when you use it, your submitted contact details and messages are processed through the chat service you use. Please do not send passwords, financial account details, or other sensitive information through general inquiry or chat channels.

 

The Command Center stores client, project, task, status, and related operational records entered by its operator. Google Search Console access is optional and requires Google authorization, as described below.

 

3. How we use and disclose information

 

We use information to respond to inquiries, provide and support agreed services, manage projects and billing, maintain business records, operate and secure our website and tools, and meet legal obligations. Our service providers, including Wix, Broadly, and embedded review providers such as Bark where applicable, process relevant information to deliver their services. Providers may process data in the United States and other locations in which they operate. Their own privacy notices explain their independent processing. We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers, when required by law or lawful process, to investigate security incidents or protect rights, or at your direction. Google-derived data is subject to the more specific restrictions in Section 5. We do not use Google Search Console data for advertising or sell it to advertisers, data brokers, or information resellers.

 

4. Cookies and website technologies

 

Wix and enabled website services use cookies or similar technologies for site functionality, security, and service operation. Chat and embedded review features may also involve device and interaction information and third-party requests. Browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies; doing so may affect site features. Contact us about the information collected through our website or to exercise applicable privacy choices. This policy does not claim that a cookie-consent control or advertising opt-out mechanism is currently implemented. Changes to tracking practices will be reflected in this policy and accompanied by consent or other choices where required.

 

5. Google Search Console and Witt AI Command Center

 

The Command Center requests only the Google Search Console read-only permission. After authorization, it can list accessible properties and permission levels and retrieve search-performance information for properties selected by the operator: clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, queries, page URLs, and reporting dates. We use this data for internal SEO reporting and analysis. Larry Witt is the only authorized dashboard user. Approved service providers may process data only as disclosed and authorized.

 

The current local version keeps Google access and refresh tokens in server memory for the session. Tokens clear when that server stops or the local Google session is cleared. A downloaded OAuth client configuration file is stored separately on the operator's computer. Operational records, selected property mappings, and dated Search Console snapshots are stored in a local database and are not automatically published. This local version is not offered as a public or shared dashboard.

 

The current app does not send Search Console data to an AI provider. Before enabling such processing, the operator must approve the specific purpose and provider. We will minimize the data sent and use provider terms that prohibit training on that data, keep inputs and outputs private, and limit processing and retention to the approved reporting purpose. Any additional consent required by Google policy or applicable law will be obtained before that transfer. Approval to use AI does not authorize advertising, resale, or unrelated model training.

 

Witt AI Command Center's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy

 

You can revoke access through https://myaccount.google.com/connections Clearing the local Google session stops its use of in-memory tokens; it does not itself revoke Google's authorization or erase saved snapshots. Contact us to request deletion of stored Google data. Revocation and deletion are separate actions.

 

6. Retention and deletion

 

We retain client/project and business records for seven years. Inquiries that do not become client engagements and Search Console snapshots are retained for up to two years, unless earlier deletion is requested and no applicable legal retention requirement prevents it. Records required for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes may be retained for the necessary period. Retention applies to our copies; providers may maintain their own operational records under their policies and applicable agreements.

 

Larry Witt handles privacy requests and retention reviews. Stored Google data is deleted on request unless retention is legally required. Session tokens are removed when disconnected. Backups and exported copies are included in deletion and retention reviews; a backup retained for a legitimate recovery or legal purpose is restricted from ordinary use and removed through its replacement/deletion process. We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup or a fixed provider deletion interval.

 

7. Security

 

We limit access to information needed for the work and use safeguards appropriate to the systems and information involved. The local Command Center is intended for the operator's own computer and is not a publicly hosted multi-user service. No system or transmission is completely secure. Do not share a computer session or exported client data with people who are not authorized to access it.

 

8. Privacy requests and choices

 

To request access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under applicable law, email Info@WittITConsulting.com or write to the address below. Larry Witt handles these requests. We may need to verify your identity and authority, and we respond within the periods required by applicable law. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions; we will explain an applicable limitation. You may contact us to ask for reconsideration of a response. For information controlled by one of our clients, contact that client first; we will assist as appropriate under our agreement. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

 

9. Children and third-party sites

 

Our business website and Command Center are intended for business users and adults, not children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps. Links to other websites and third-party services are governed by their own privacy notices.

 

10. Changes and contact

 

We may update this policy as our practices change. We will post an updated effective date and provide notice or obtain consent where required. New uses of Google data require appropriate updated disclosures and authorization before they begin.
